La Grange Park District Family Fest
July 30, 2010- The La Grange Park District Family Fest was teeming with families when thousands showed up at Gordon Park to participate in the 9th annual festivities.
Fireworks, pony rides, a petting zoo and carnival games were just a few highlights at the event. The hula hoop competition stole the night as kids competed to outlast each other while jamming to the electric slide dance.
As the premier sponsor of the event, Vulcan was presented an award by the La Grange Park District as a token of appreciation for their continued support of the Park District.
"Vulcan is dedicated to helping the community and has been a continuous supporter of the La Grange Park District," said Laura Gallagher, Superintendent of Recreation for the La Grange Park District. "We look forward to working together again in the future."
