CEP Youth Leadership Run/Walk was a 'rocking' success

June 11, 2008 - The McCook Quarry served as a proud sponsor of CEP Youth Leadership's LaGrange Rocks for Youth 5K Run/Walk. The event was on Friday June 6 at Lyons Township High School North Campus.

Over 300 runners and walkers participated in the event. As part of its support, Vulcan donated yellow smiley stress balls for each participant's goody bags.

CEP Youth Leadership, Inc. designs and implements education, prevention, and developmental programs for a group of diverse youth to promote leadership skills, foster positive relationships and provide opportunities to engage in community service resulting in life-long civic responsibility and a unified community.
